Epiphone Jack Casady new $599
Re: Epiphone Jack Casady new $599
After several weeks with mine, I still love it and can’t believe the great price. It is one of the most resonant basses I’ve ever played. The pickup is excellent too. Totally worth it.

Sweetwater has them for 599 as well. Where did you ever find a case?
I got an acoustic bass case from Thommann and it fit
Can you link to the case that worked please? Thanks!

Epiphone makes a hard case for it that used to come with the bass, but are now sold seperately it seems. A regular case works for lefties. I had to dig around for a store that sold one, but I did eventually find one. They might be more common now.

I think this would fit but would be worth to call them and ask to be safe.

Unlikely, the Rumblekat is Höfner Club-sized so a fair bit smaller than the JC.

Man I hate I missed these prices but I’m glad I got one when I did. It would really suck to not have a case for one of these.

I got one of these when they first came out too. Especially for the price, they're really cool basses. I enjoy playing mine a lot and really like how it sounds.
Great that they're selling for bargain prices now. I'm tempted to get one to refin. I like having the gold finish but it'd be nice to have a different one too.

I thought alot on this too. It would be about $1k to get a smoking MJT finish. Shipping both ways is maybe $150 (or just have the seller ship straight to them), so I'm looking at about $1800 for a one of a kind casady. I would consider paying that but as much as I love my casady in the studio, I have problems with it live, and if im going to rock a one of a kind casady, I want people to see it!
