Very sorry to hear about your experience, and thanks for the heads up. :(

One other thing I notice in the video, though I can't tell if it's just the angle or not, but the inlays above the 12th fret seem to be off and not equidistant from one another. Look at the distance of the top 24th fret inlay from the neck heel comparatively to the lower 24th fret inlay. Lower inlay looks further away from heel. Other inlays don't look completely centered or re higher/lower than others. In other words, placement of inlays don't seem to have any consistency or rhyme or reason.

The less i look at it the better i feel :) There's a good discussion about it on the talkbass forum with the same title. The good news with all this story is i am now waiting to get (3 months) my hands on my Schecter Stiletto Studio Fretless Left Hand (i already own the 5 string fretted version). After all this nightmare, i still kick myself for not making it my first choice.

Better late then never! When i'll get my Schecter, i'll do a small review and post it here.

When you said "learned your lesson" I could only hope that you are not out any money. If it's good enough to consider buying: It's gotta be worth the seller A. answering questions & B. showing additional pictures that you actually request. This is the only pic I have of that is NOT a good response. You need money; so you try to sell something........It is what it is, want someone to get deep in their pockets for it: don't be so sketchy............

Here's my new Left Hand Fretless PERFECT bass. This one is indeed perfect for me ! A quality instrument from a company that has control on what they do. Really happy about this one! It is my second Schecter Stiletto Studio, i also have the 5 strings fretted version.

Damn, sorry to hear about your experience with that company.
Looks like that neck pickup has the same spacing as the bridge pickup. This is common on some cheaper instruments, but not on a custom bass and it's especially weird they ignored your custom order and didn't install the pickups you specified even though you paid extra for it!
