Hot rod precision bass
If anyone comes across one with a rosewood fretboard please post. I'm doing a Fender thing now. After several of them I've come to accept I have to have a PJ. I have the new player plus for now.

These are great basses and if you get it consider switching to Volume - Blend - Tone, rather than Volume - Volume - Tone. I have a Mike Lull with PJ configuration and the VBT combo is great.

Re: Hot rod precision bass
Hey.... I actually have a really great Hot Rod style P bass that I made out of spare/Warmoth parts. The neck is an actual honest to goodness Fender Hot Rod P bass neck. Black korina body with tobacco burst. Looks amazing. Has Geezer Butler EMG (passive) pickups and Hipshot bridge and drop D tuner. (Appropriate Fender one.) I really didn't want to part with it but... I could use the cash more than I could use a tenth bass right now. Ha. You can see it in the thread here...

Sometimes I think, maybe I'm lucky I'm left handed. If I could play any bass I wanted, my collection would REALLY be out of control.

That is a great-looking bass! I really like the grains and coloration on that Black Korina! Well done!jayceofbass wrote:Hey.... I actually have a really great Hot Rod style P bass that I made out of spare/Warmoth parts.

You need my 1983 Kramer Pioneer. That bass would even make Duff McKagan blush. PM me.
