"Needs new electronics ?" Yikes.

And that infamous Ernie Ball G string hangin off the FB !! ACK !! When will they get that right and I love those basses !!

A buddy is a righty with an SR5 he loves and without me even bringing it up, he says "love every bit of that bass if only they could get the G string to stop hangin off the fretboard !" LOL !! He's not even a real technical player either but it drives him nuts and that's a righty. We kind of expect some of these things as lefties but not on a righty.

The bass is marked as in "good condition" so I assume t it's the angle where he took the photo from, the upper horn is closer to him making the E string look like that.
Maybe it needs a new battery that's why "electronics".
Regardless, worth asking before taking a swing!

I had one from before the Earvana compensated nuts, and it had none of the infamous G-string issues. Great bass, that I kinda wish I still had. I believe mine was a 2003 model, in the rare Autumn Redburst finish, and it looked spectacular under stage lights.
