I love my Strymon El Capistan on my guitar pedalboard. I use it sometimes in tandem with a Digitech Digital Delay. Great tone.
What is a good delay pedal that you like for bass? I don't want to spend Strymon prices.
Do you go analog or digital--which works best for bass?

I like older rack delays by Ibanez, Electra and Digitech. I like both analog and early digital units. The Electra EP-550 is one of the best sounding digital modulation delays I've ever heard. I also love the Ibanez AD-202. FOr bass I really like having the modulation. Used subtly it's very nice.

When gigging was a possibility I used (still do) a Boss Waza DC-2W. Great for 80's tunes, which we do a fair amount of.
When I want to play One Of These Days by Pink Floyd, I break out a P bass and an El Capistan.
If I want some dirt and grit, my secret weapon is an Analog Man RD-20 XL.
For clean and digital I use a TC Electronic Flashback 2 Delay/Looper (never use the looper tho).

Thanks, guys.
I love the El Capistan and have one on my guitar board.
I have a small bass pedalboard, and I might go with the MXR Carbon Copy.
