Hiya! I'm not familiar with Trabens first hand, why not start a thread in the basses section to tell us about your Traben bass.

Hello all, Peter here. Glad to see the site up and beaming with southpaw activity!

I'd love to hear about Trabens as well. There was one on ebay last week that had a Best Offer option on it. It's probably still for sale if anyone needs a link.

Lefty Jack here from talkbass. Thanks Andrew for setting up a site devoted to us outcasts.
I've kind of taken a break from posting over at talkbass.com but this has renewed my interest in being sociable.
Cheers!

Hi All, I'm digiboy at the Fender FDP or Mike is fine, or ADSR, whatever.

After years of experimenting, I'm a confirmed Pbass player. I'm always open to trying other basses, but so far nothing can top the old school Pbass sound for me.

Nice to have a forum specifically for us lefty players. Hope we can pull in a large membership and maybe for once we can all feel like we are in the majority!!

Hi Mike,
I recognize your digiboy handle from the FDP or maybe an early version of the Pit.
Glad to have you here! Yes, I hope we can get a large membership too.

If you're a lefty who loves P-Basses you've come to the right place, there's plenty of us here. Whatcha got for a P-Bass?

Actually both of my P's are pictured here in Lefty007's mega-gallery post. Look in the "Dream Basses" section for the shot of 2 basses in front of a wooden fence. It has the heading "1967 Fender" but actually shows both the 67 I got back around 1972 and the CIJ 57 reissue I got in late 2004. These basses are a joy to play. The mutes add just the right amount of cut to the sustain time so that I get a real classic Motown sound.

Eventually I will post some shots of some of my other lefties but these 2 are my faves.

Aha! Now I remember you even better. I had it in the back of my head you were the guy with those two P-basses, glad I was right. We spoke before about your '57 R.I. P. I've always wanted one of those. Please post pics of your P's in the gallery when you get a chance.

Hey everyone. Glad to be invited to join. I currently have three leftys. My 2005 SR5, 2006 SR4 and a 2004 MIM Jazz that has been hotrodded and defretted.

I also just this week, took the plunge and ordered a new American Standard jazz in sunburst&torte. This will be my first US Fender ever, so I am quite excited. I think it will go nicely with the other three.
