I don't really mind the color at all.
But, that bridge looks awfully chintzy. And why is it mounted so close to the neck? Is it a 34"-scale body mounted to a 32"-neck or something?

I did not mean to offend. Of course people should and will buy what they want.
I just meant that, having owned a few Rickenbackers, nothing but a real one will do.

Do you have any experience with Ric copies?Lefty4001 wrote:I just meant that, having owned a few Rickenbackers, nothing but a real one will do.
I've owned a Ric and I currently own a '77 Greco RB-700, and based on that I sincerely believe the Greco to be just as good, if not better.

There are good copies and bad copies! I've heard good things about the Greco Rick and it looks very nice but this one...

No. I've owned Fender and Hofner copies, but never a Rick copy. Never even considered buying one.bbl wrote:Do you have any experience with Ric copies?Lefty4001 wrote:I just meant that, having owned a few Rickenbackers, nothing but a real one will do.

Since the day I decided to get a Rick, I've only wanted the real thing.
I've seen the Greco you mentioned and it DOES look good. The only copy I'd like to have is the Ibanez "Lawsuit" Rick from the 70's.
And I've NEVER seen a lefty version of it.
