I can't disagree with you there. I bet it plays and sounds great. But the headstock, pickguard curves, wide butt, bridge... reeks of an instrument designed by committee :D

Changing subject slightly, the headstock on the new G&Ls prevents me from purchasing... I'll only consider the old style.

There's a Jazz bass for sale that I won't buy because the refin is not period correct......

Apparently gone. What was the asking price?

I have one. I like it. Like the looks too. I'd day it succeeds in it's attempt to be a Gibson/Fender hybrid.

Somebody bought in mid transaction out from under me. A 649 dollar MIA with plek bass. cmon I bet it plays like buttah.

There was one in a CL add from a pawn shop not long ago, it is posted here. But I think that one was $750.
I also saw one in OfferApp before right here in Massachusetts. But for much more.
