08 MIA P Burst/Black

Post by artdrtr »

’08 MIA P. Original owner. Bought from Bass Central. Light and very comfortable to play -- this is a tone monster. No dings on neck or back. Very light wear on sides. Burst/black: replaced the PG with B/W/B – for that 70’s classic rock vibe. Small 1/4" clear coat wear at 5th fret on top – not a ding, just wear from too much playing I guess ;)... Comes with Fender hard case. 900.00+ shipping. Must sell for personal reasons. Sorry for 1 crappy pic, will upload more tonight..

Do you know the actual weight of the bass and does it still have the tort guard too?

Not sure the wt. -- I've been asked about the wt, so I'll try to get it posted tomorrow.

I do have the tort guard.

Pic of the clear coat wear at the 5th.

Me too - always liked the burst/black combo - I'm not into the tort look... last year I picked up a '79 burst with original black guard but maple neck 8-)

Shaweeet. That's definitely one of the top comobos in my book.

What's wild about this bass is that the pronounced grain of the alder even looks like ash -especially the back.
