Get this + a looper pedal and a real drummer and you've got yourself an instant power trio!

I've seen this one on ebay many times, and I've been tempted. 99% of all of these double necks you see are either 6/12 guitars only, or guitar/bass but with a single output. So idiotic. Who's going to run their guitar and bass through a guitar amp? This one gives you two outs (which you can't really see in the photos), so you can run out to guitar and bass cabinets separately.

Two reasons I haven't picked this up yet: I'd prefer a 4 string fretted bass side, and I'd rather have the bass on the bottom half of the instrument. I have to wonder how it balances/weighs too.

starfire = OMFG junk out of the box.

I bought this:

and out of the box it was junk, bad p-pickup ( 1.93k ohms ) a bridge that if you did a note bend the backside where the stings go thru flexed just enough to make the other strings bend, and a neck that took a week of TR adj to make it playable. But for 65 bucks I said who cares. if it was total junk, I would have just let it sit as a cool metallish wall decoration.

however after a bridge and p-pickup change, a lot of frustration on the TR..it did fix it and now it can be played ( I never do honestly because the neckdive sucks ) :)
