Hello
I've decided to sell this rare Fender Jazzbass JB 75 US bass.
A left-handed model, which makes it so rare, with a unique mojo.
It's just 50 years old, played by a Parisian bassist who played it a lot. He upgraded it a bit because he had installed a preamp.
I wanted to give it a passive old-school sound.
I replaced the potentiometers with an Emerson custom jazzbass kit.
The pots (Bakelite) and potentiometers are original.
Since the pickups aren't original, I had great Lollar pickups installed.
A 4-string J-Bass set/2013 NOS. High-end growl and definition guaranteed.
I changed a kickbass-style bridge for better sustain.
The fretboard is perfect.
The back of the neck had a crack in the varnish. My luthier checked the stability of the truss rod and the neck, and the frets are
perfect.

The bass is located in France near Nantes

Price Renovation with purchase of parts for around €850

I'm selling it for €2,300, negotiable with its vintage fly

Saw this, and was confused by the model designation being used: JB75-US is what Fender Japan called their 1975 reissue for a long time. Looks like a genuinely cool instrument though!
