It still puzzles me why the US only got the Korean-made lefty ones and only in Amber, and Europe only got the Transparent Black finish but both Korean and Japanese lefty models! Ibanez moves in mysterious ways
I've played both, and both are just about equally nice!

Equally puzzling is why so many of these had bad/ill-fitted nuts. This one appears to have had the nut replaced, and there was another one on Reverb a couple of months ago that had a bad nut. The one I used to own way back when also had a bad nut.Jeroen wrote:It still puzzles me why the US only got the Korean-made lefty ones and only in Amber, and Europe only got the Transparent Black finish but both Korean and Japanese lefty models! I also don't see any serial number or manufacture info under the model name on the back of the neck on this one.

Ha, good call! I can't find a serial either.
And what's up with that poorly fitting battery cover? It's narrower than the electronics cover, yet somehow it doesn't look like it's too narrow for the routing job. These covers are normally recessed, so you'd notice a little stepped up edge when the cover is too small for the hole. But there doesn't appear to be one in this particular bass.
