Joe (thumbslam) over at Prana has added a video and into finishing post prep. Turning out exactly how I hoped. He's really run with it doing amazing work.

Well as they have been doing all along, Joe and Eli of Prana really did an over-the-top outstanding job refurbing the 86 Alembic Persuader/Exploiter. Here are some photos of the finished work. Really exceptional. I can't even begin to imagine the quality of one of their Prana designed and built basses !!

I may continue on with updating the preamp as it has changed over the years as well as getting strap locks on however otherwise, I declare this <pointing closer and closer at it> d-d-d-d-DONE.

It's always great to see nice basses brought back to life and this is the best restoration I ever seen on a lefty bass, congrats! Joe and Eli did a fantastic job!

Came out gorgeous! were the bridge pieces highly polished, or were they plated?

Thank you all for the kind and generous comments !! That is all Joe and Eli at Prana for sure !

Five, the brass was polished out carefully by Eli who is a machinist. He noticed it was a dense marine brass and really went to town on it.

That's some beautiful work. I watched a little of the youtube vids, he's really into it. Lucky to find somebody that skilled and dedicated, and not jaded either.

I don't know much about Alembics (but have total respect). Is that the output jack? (furthest back away from the neck) I'm curious as to why it looks like that, protruding out. It's fine, in fact it looks cool, but is there a reason why it looks different from the usual bass/guitar 1/4" output jack?
