What do you mean? ;) He took down that listing and put this new one up because
HE ADDED YELLOW DICE KNOBS. NOW it's worth $700...

Yeah. He wants $700 (he had it listed at $800 a few hours ago) for a bass he made in his living room. Meanwhile, there's another guy on eBay who can't even get $1300 for his wenge neck Warwick Thumb NT 5 fretless.

EDIT: Good observation, Pete! Seller advisory: Yellow dice knobs decrease the value of your instrument by approximately $100.00US.

Let's just... digest this description a little.

I took this listing down to put better images on it and put yellow dice knobs on the bass.

Time well spent.

This is my left handed bass guitar project, it needs wired up and that is all.

Then this is your UNFINISHED bass guitar project. Also, grammar.
Also, please learn to properly string a bass now that you've almost figured out to bolt a neck on and put a bridge on slightly crooked.

I had to shim the neck with sandpaper to lower the strings.

Maybe try a wood shim?

Wire it up yourself or get somebody to do it and you can play it! I don't know how to wire it up.

Maybe take half an hour and learn?

He's clearly lying to himself about the worth of this bass.

He's clearly lying to himself about the worth of this bass.

value is subjective.
at one auction he admitted to failing at wiring it on another he admitted to wanting to break even.
he's not taking this too seriously.
I hope.
