Correct, I see a bunch of cheap necks with Block Inlays but I want to see if there is someone who I can ship my Fender neck too and they can modify to add block inlays.

All, the only thing I really want is a Fender Jazz bass with Block Inlays in a Rosewood Neck however that is only available in the custom shop and not the mod shop (Mod shop has it for right handed models).

Nationwide guitars have very good stuff but the prices are too high. I swear they have had that left handed Jazz bass (white with block inlays) for at least 10 years.

I think at the 12th fret would have been better to have one dot, since all other makers are two dots.

Man this is cool, from a Facebook group. There is a good amount of comments in the FB group about the bass but still looks cool.

Is it just me or do these Gibson basses just not have that Wow factor to them? I see them and certain aspects just look like a cheap bass.

Don't get me wrong I had a Gibson bass before Thunderbird and I loved it, but these midtown basses just look eh to me.

The person selling (Alex P in Florida) is just amazing for how much vintage gear he gets that is left handed.

Something about the Block Inlays just don't look right but I can't put my finger on it? I know it's not a Fender but something just looks wrong.

Had this happen to me, for about two weeks during the day if it was sunny and 65 to 80 degrees out, I would let the case air out in the sun (12 hours). Also I sprayed Febreze almost daily for a week after that then it was all gone. I forgot all about that till I seen this thread.

I got some Fender basses, Mike Lull and had tons of other basses. I still have my 1979 Hondo P bass, I use it in worst case scenarios (outdoor gigs when raining, leave it in car all day and gig at night). Gotta admit bass plays very well and best beater bass.

I miss my L2000 (one of only a few regrets), my L2000 and my Peavey Amp used to draw so many compliments on how great the bass sounded. If I ever see my old 2000 again I would buy it in a heartbeat.

So these bases are one of the most under rated basses.
