Re: The Eggmen need your vote!!!(yet again)

I voted for the Eggmen only in some categories. Had to vote for my sister-in-law's band in most others. :) At least I can say she is left-handed.

I sold mine about a year ago. Great bass, but I am back to playing more guitar.

Maybe it is the pictures, but the neck looks as small as a banjo neck.

Re: checking in :-)

I feel like such a complete and utter fool. I skipped the entire middle part and missed the part about your wife. It sounds like I was more sorry to hear about the lefties and not your wife! My apologies! I hope everything turns out well for you.

Very cool looking bass, but I wouldn't pay a premium for that color.

Re: '58 Custom Shop P

Anybody dealt with this place in the past?

I once went to their store when I was in Denver. I was expecting wall-to-wall guitars, but instead they had most of their guitars in another room, not on display. Since I was not serious about purchasing something, I didn't bother asking for something ...

Re: Alembic Orion 5

Saw this at Guitar Showcase San Jose. They're asking $2495. Looks like walnut top, mahogany back. A few scuffs here and there - good to excellent condition, imo.

Enjoy my crappy iphone pics.

I played the Epiphone to the left. Also played the aluminum neck Kramer nearby. I am back to playing ...

I recently purchased a Gretsch Electromatic, and while it does not have an aluminum neck, it definitively gets cold when left in my trunk for a few hours.

Re: Double gig bag

Not sure what the status of Ritter bags is, but they were not distributed in the US anymore due to internal issues of the company (owner was getting divorced). I purchased my guitar double gig bag while they still had US distribution and it is a great gig bag.
