Re: FS: Yamaha TRB1005
Why are you selling JC? Just interested as I have had 2 of these basses
Re: FS: Yamaha TRB1005
I really like this bass, it's a really playable instrument. I'm just not playing it much. I have an MTD and a Warwick that I've grown very fond of.

Re: FS: Yamaha TRB1005
Does Yamaha make the 4 string version of this bass left handed?

BOOOOO!Jeroen wrote:Nope, all lefthanded TRB's were 5-strings.
Re: FS: Yamaha TRB1005
Andrew why do you drink Haterade for the 5rs?
Re: FS: Yamaha TRB1005
Same reason you drink it for 4 strings.thumbslam wrote:Andrew why do you drink Haterade for the 5rs?
I don't drink haterade for 5 strings, just bass models not available in 4 string.

Re: FS: Yamaha TRB1005
great bass, yamaha has to be one of the most underrated instrument companys around, they cut down on production costs by buying their own forest, and this bass is the 5 string version of the john pattatuci signature 6 string and imo has a beautiful tone for soloing....sigh wish i had the cash to buy it myself
Re: FS: Yamaha TRB1005
I used to have a TRB5II, my first 'proper' bass after playing a Condor (MIJ) plywood Jazzbass for a year, and it was a great bass. Warm yet tight and very versatile. They were the last Japanese-made TRB's (if you don't count the Pattitucci), the TRB100x's are now made in Taiwan. But they still have the same build quality, hardware and electronics and are still great basses, I had the chance to compare them once. Very nice basses.
