Lakland U.S.A. 55-94 / Xotic XJ-1T/ Bass Mods 535

I'm selling a few quality axes my friends. As I turned 50, my midlife crisis propelled me towards an affair with a lovely maiden named F Bass, so something had to give 
Up first, is the bass I never thought I'd sell, my main sidekick for almost 2 decades. A 1999 Lakland U.S.A. 55-94. This is a killer bass no doubt and it has served me well in pretty much every scenario imaginable. It has some dings on it but who escapes a 20 year relationship without some scars?! Nothing major though and the guts are golden.

Next we have an Xotic XJ-1T, circa 2010. I did send it to Xotic to add some of the most recent upgrades a few years ago - in house pickups and the Trilogic 2 preamp. No HRI though. A lovely bass as well. Warm, full sound but you can dial in some bite too. I actually recorded a punk rock record with this joint!

Finally, there is the Bass Mods 535, circa 2013 when the company was new. This bass is a beast is a few ways. It has a very focused sound on the bright side of things. Perhaps this is due to the weight. I don't know for sure but i'm going to guess its around 12 pounds. I also upgraded from the in house pre to a Bartolini NTMB as well. Sentimental value with this one for sure as I recorded an EP with Angelo Moore from Fishbone with this one. I still have to pinch myself about that!
