Haha, woops! Sorry to steal your thunder. He has a unique technique, especially with his slapping and popping (not to mention a hyperactive right hand).
I also just love his rendition of that bass line--I've posted it here before.

I forgot about Greta Brinkman.
I’ve never heard of Ron Perry, but now I have to check him out. And apparently I need to listen to some Susan Tedeschi as well. Damn!!!

. Saw the Tedeschi Trucks band last week and they were on fire! easily one of my favorite bands of the last few years.
