Let me talk Australian $ because that is how the prices are shown to me.

So they want around $16000 for this.

The bass is a Hofner B Bass Hi seried that go for around $500 so what's left? A pick guard signed by Paul McCartney for around $15,500.

Now Paul's signatures are going for around $500 to $1000 so lets say $1000.

This leaves us with a $14,500 pic guard ...pretty expensive I'd say

The signature might be right but the pickguard does not fit or belong on a Höfner Ignition.
The Ignition is the cheapest in the Höfner violin line! Nothing wrong with there, I've got one, when I bought it I preferred the sound over the more expensive versions.
