When will Guitar Center get with the program and post several high-quality shots for an instrument?

For this particular instrument, it really is rather important to see the back. Plus, I can't tell what that black line is by the pickups.

I just assumed that was a thumb rest.

They've always been responsive when I've called and asked for more pix.

You're still looking for a wenge neck one, right?

It probably is a thumb rest, yes. It just looks weird. It looks like tar or something.

And I am not really looking for one, no. I am just about down to the number of basses I want to be at. I don't really feel like spending any money and having another instrument take up more space in my apartment. However, as capricious as I am with this stuff, that could change at any time.

I'd give you 100:1 that it's an Ovangkol neck, anyway.
