But the battery cover is a larger sized oval plastic affair held in place with two flathead screws! And the sticker is intact! Totally collectible!!

The plot thickens... if you look at the seller's profile, he's got multiple Steinberger and Babicz products - and the picture looks like Mr. Babicz himself if I'm not mistaken.

That actually Jeff C. and not Jeff Babicz. Jeff C. works for...with Jeff B. They both worked for Ned before Gibson.
