Look who's back
Re: Look who's back
See, now that's a nice bass in its own right. Nice to see a sensible starting bid, too. Maybe I spooked him when I asked why his pictures were of someone else's bass.
Of course I wouldn't trust anything of his now. If I were even considering it, I'd want pictures of the neck / pocket / electronics.

Re: Look who's back
How can that be a 1975 Precision when there's an S8***** serial number on the headstock? Must be made somewhere between 1977 and 1983, they've used those necks on lefty instruments for several years. The Fender website will tell you December 1977 - December 1978, but this does not hold true for lefty instruments. They must have stockpiled lefty necks from that year up to the early 80s.
Re: Look who's back
IDK why Ebay didn't do anything, these posts are so fishy.

Re: Look who's back
Maybe I'm just overly suspicious now, but something doesn't look right about the wear on the front of the body. I'm trying to figure out what playing style would cause that.

Re: Look who's back
Some righty playing a lefty bass upside down. Nothing more stupid. Like they don't have enough right handed basses.
Re: Look who's back
Oh yeah now that i've noticed the wear on the paint job is on the correct side for a left handedJeroen wrote:I stopped wondering when I came across some of these![]()
Re: Look who's back
Once again he canceled the auction in the very last minute and reposted it for 3 grand.

Amazing that Ebay won't get on top of this.
Re: Look who's back
The previous link i had says the bass was sold for US $1,375.00.
After the bass was "sold", it is back again for sale...?

Re: Look who's back
He's not getting money and he's not getting feedback. That's why I can only guess that he's trying to screw with the market by creating a string of bogus sales.
