The first listing from Japan has been up a number of times over the past couple of months. Seems legit to me. The second one from California has just been listed recently. Low price, not much info, only two pictures. The grain pattern looks exactly the same as well as the bridge saddle adjustment. Maybe I'm seeing things wrong, but II would be careful!!!!!

That's the scary thing people are bidding and don't know there's a problem. Pete reported the issue, hopefully Ebay does something before someone gets burned.

This guy posted another bass, now fretless but he doesn't even mention it is a fretless.

That's too bad. Good catch Paulo! Ebay let the first one go through even after Pete reported it. It was listed as selling for $2325.00. This new listing of the fretless I don't recall seeing listed before. I would stay away from anything he's selling unless there is a confirmation that he a legit seller.

The previous listing ended with 28 bids. I wonder if the dude is just screwing around and in the last minute he closes the auction just for fun, That way he can't get a negative feedback.

I wonder if he's trying to create a trail of bogus sales in an attempt to artificially lower the market price of the real instrument so that he can buy it cheaper.
