Moved - Finally

Post by Rodent »

Well, it isn't Charlotte, NC (yet!) but I did manage to get moved to a townhome with a private garage :D

I'll be starting to set-up shop again, and get back to building a few lefties in the coming weeks. In the mean time I get to sort thru my supply of tops (about half of them are seen in boxes here)

and there's just a couple of bookmatched tops in each box, eh?

I then need to get them ready (images and stock numbered) for listing on the soon to be reopened webpage so people can choose their top/back from actual images of the real deal. I have a few other interesting things to share ;) , but all in due time :P

all the best,

You do know that I'm only 85 miles away from Charlotte with a 70 mph speed limit almost all the way down? Let me know when you get to town and I'll show you a good ole southern welcome. And maybe commission you to build me a really cool bass!

Glad to see you're relocated into your new place Rod. I think some sweet basses are imminent.

thanks guys!

looks like my home office is going to be large enough to include a small assembly/set-up bench, and my desk will no longer need to be continually swapping between day-job and assembly activities :D

all the best,

I picked up a pair(!) of Smopsmith Mark V (510 models) over the weekend from a guy who is moving to Yuma, AZ. Also included were bandsaw, scroll saw, shaper, and jointer attachments. I should be able to cut and slot fretboards again once I have these all set-up

I finally have tools in the house and a place to play with them! :D

Loads of things coming together this month, that's for sure

all the best,
