a little wood porn to wrap-up the year

I thought some of you may appreciate these acrylicized fingerboard blanks that somehow found their way to my place 
All of these will eventually make their way into fretless fingerboards on various projects
Amboyna burl
spalted birdseye Maple
spalted flame Maple
these will hold up very well - even with roundwounds - any they retain a woody sound and not plastic.
