M Bass M3

Hi Guys,
Didn't think I was going to part with this one but GAS has dictated otherwise and, since I'm planning on picking up two basses in the next few weeks I can't currently justify having any more than 3 in total. Yes, I'm keeping my Warwick Streamer Stage 1.
So, here it is: 2008 M Bass M3, built by Jon Maghini of Connecticut ( http://www.mbasses.com ). Alder body with cherry sunburst nitro finish, looks like multiple laminate maple neck with a Macassar Ebony fingerboard, ramp, and tone block between the heel of the neck and the body, Wenge veneer on headstock. Electronics are Lindy Fralin single coil jazz pickups, with an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp wired with volume, blend, bass, mid, treble, mid frequency select switch and preamp defeat switch. It would be fairly easy to wire in a passive tone to this setup as well. Hipshot B style bridge and Hipshot tuners. They may be Ultralights but I'm not sure. Brass nut. The bass balances perfectly and, to my hands, has a great neck.
The bass comes with an excellent Reunion Blues Continental gig bag.
The bass is in excellent condition aside from some VERY slight cloudiness in the finish that is only perceptible in the right (or wrong) light. Apparently, this was due to a previous owner using Pledge to clean the body. I've never been bothered by it and now, when I look for it I have a hard time finding it. A few extremely minor blemishes that I would not be able to photograph with my iPhone and a couple of small spots on the bridge where the black has come off a saddle or two.
The bass is very light at 8.4 lbs and has a very resonant body.
I'm thinking $1750 plus shipping from Canada. These basses were in the neighbourhood of $3600 new and he no longer makes the M3 model in favour of more tradition Jazz and P bass styling. I prefer this body shape to the Jazz and P bass styles but that's just me.
