Picked up a 2013 American Standard Jazz from Southpaw Guitars. Ordered just before the NAM show and received it 4/4/13. Changed out the white pickgard for a tortious and ordered a hipshot D-tuner. The color is hard to photograph with the new pickgard the blue really pops and looks great on real stages with lighting.

The photo makes it look much darker than what I've seen on other previews around the web

I'm thinking an aged-white parchement guard would also look cool.

And I'm really jealous that a bunch of teenagers have such awesome pedalboards!

The Rockit program supplied the back line for this show The pedal boards are theirs. I'm jealous too!

The white pickgard that came on the bass was a little plain I ordered the tortoise shell thinking The bass was lighter as in all the internet pictures, to add you would never know it is metallic paint it is quite an attractive bass in person (IMO) I agree an aged parchment would also look good.

Here is that band putting the gear to work at a St Patrick Day show. Hope this link works:

Definitely a good move putting the tort guard on there. Looks fantastic. I'm tempted to pick one of these up and do the same. (Or pick up the P bass and slap a gold anodized guard on it).

Is that Little Paul's pedal board in front of him? Geez a lot of stuff on there. What's he got?

That pedal board is for the other guitar player in the other bands in the Rockit program. The pedals Paul uses for Rockit are a Radial Tone Bone, Boss TU-3, MXR Blow Torch.

Paul's pedals are a Nose A/B, TC Electronic Poly Tune, Joyo Power supply, MXR Blow Torch. Some times add a Sans Amp Tech 21 Bass Driver or the Sadowsky Pedal pre amp DI.

Paul, you must be proud! Congrats.

Also, I have the Fender Antique White (which fades to yellow/gold) on my 1973 Strat, and it is [Jerry Seinfeld] "spectacular." [/Seinfeld]

Thanks Mike I'm very proud, I will have to shoot you a pic when he works his MTD 5 string into the show.
