Thanks for the link. I've seen it, but it's too expensive for me unfortunately.

I have the same Mapleglo but an '08. It to is a true mirror of the right hand model: headstock curl at the top, triangle markers point down.. I always hated
that Ric just flipped a right hand neck to make lefties in the 70-90s -- looks so bad.
If you bid and don't get it, hit me up, I might be willing to part with mine.

Re: Looking for a lefty Rickenbacker
1985 V-63, posted on this site a few weeks ago . . .
NEW Pictures!
VERY Rare & Personally Signed: Vintage Rickenbacker 4001 V-63! LEFT HANDED & excellent+ condition! Classic Fireglo lacquer finish.
Serial # YK 2067, 1985.
The V-63 (Vintage RE-issue 1963) 4001 series was discontinued 20+ years ago, not many around.
All original Rickenbacker equipment, maple body & gloss varnished Vermillion Rosewood fretboard.
Classic Rickenbacker tones & sounds:
the punchy bridge pickup & piano-like "Toaster" neck pickup.
Plays & feels WONDERFUL, perfect balance, neck & intonation is sweet.
Personally signed by the late / great CHRIS SQUIRE, of YES, in 1994 on the "TALK" tour. I met him back stage thru some friends in the YES tribute band "Fragile".
HE took it from me and said:
"Why . . it's BACKWARDS!!", in his charming & jovial way,
after my "Wayne's World" presentation of "I'm NOT worthy . . "
His sig. has faded a bit, but I have a closeup picture of it when it was fresh!
This bass listed @ $3,289 + 15% for left handed = $3,782
I'm disabled w/ inoperable neck & back issues & can't work, or play anymore except on the couch.
I'll be selling off all my other guitars, amps & basses soon, also.
RIC hard-shell-case included.
The "MAGIC" happens when you play Am7 chord from "Silent Wings", ABOVE the 12th fret.
NO OTHER bass get's that sound. PERIOD!
Fresh set of Swing-bass ROTOSOUNDS JUST INSTALLED.
I've had / been playing this bass since 1992, I will miss it.
I'd LIKE $3,900 TO LET THIS BABY GO . .
Ideal, VINTAGE bass for another lefty player. NOT interested in trades or dealers, need to downsize my arsenal before I move.
Other: V-63, 4001s on E-bay & elsewhere: NONE are as clean as this & NONE were signed by the "Schindreleria Prima Taurus"
It's THAT SWEET, a Bass rock Bazooka!
Make me an offer I can't refuse.
