Questions for stringing a lefty bass like a righty.

On a typical J or P, what are the issues besides the nut for stringing a lefty bass righty style. (like the picture at the top of this forum page)
What about the bridge, tuning gears and the "tree" ( Not sure what the name for it is, the button-like knob on the headstock that normally the D and G string slip under). Do they need to be changed?
What else has to be done to accommodate the different strings when they are going on a lefty that is to be strung "righty" ?
Thanks
