That price really isn't that bad considering a new one will set you back almost $1500 shipped on ebay.

F Bass BN5 • ZON Legacy Elite 5 • ZON Sonus Elite 5 Fretless • ZON Sonus BG5 • Fender Custom Shop '64 NOS Jazz • Fender Custom Shop '75 NOS Jazz • Fender ADE Precision • Music Man SR4

Agreed it's actually not overpriced. Even going into a music shop in Japan and buying one new in person will run you over $1000. And they aren't officially imported into North America so are rare too.

BTW, I tried one out in that music store and was incredibly impressed with the sound from the one I tested. Easily the most beefy "Fender tone" I've heard from their current basses. Don't know why. There's some clips on YouTube for anyone interested to hear I think.

Yep, that's mine..not trying to burn anybody on it!
Paid 900, just trying to break even on it. I've never seen them sell for under 1k on the bay, used or new, and this is "like" new for sure..
It's up on the bay for 999 to cover the evil bay costs....get it direct here for cheaper...
Cover shipping and PayPal or best offer of course...

Nope...got in from a gig and it had just been posted on eBay with a buy it now of 899, decided to jump on it figured I could turn it if I wanted with out a loss as they have been selling in the 1200+ range with $120 shipping. The bass is really clean and light but I have since tweaked my p and j setups to my liking. If it doesn't move, I'll hold into it...it's a cool bass...the mirrored guard makes me feel like Phil!
