'96 P Bass Cheap!

Just spotted this on ebay. Could be a heck of a deal with a $375 opening bid/$600 BIN price. The neck is definitely MIA, but the only thing I question is whether or not the body's MIA, as I've never seen a MIA P bass in a maroon finish before. (Refinish or an Asian body?). Might be worth getting in touch with the seller:

The body with the string-thru option looks legit though. The neck is the same as my 1996 so there's no doubt about it. But I agree I have never seen this color before. Now keep I remember that there was a time where almost all the colors were available for us.

Not only color styles, but fretboard woods... I very badly desire a P-bass with a maple fretboard (a la Roger Waters P-bass) but all we ever get are rosewood. bleh.

I THINK THAT MUST BE CANDY APPLE RED (CAR) ,SEEMS LIKE MY 96 PBASS,IF YA LOOK AT THE PIC HE HAS SHOWING ITS CASE YOU CAN SEE WHAT I MEAN.

Yes the color's brighter in the pic with the case. The description calls it maroon though.
