Hm, I dunno man. Not sure what that neck is actually worth, but I know it could bring some bucks being left handed pre-CBS and all.

It's actually a right-handed neck but you are correct, he'll would be better off selling a "right-handed 1964 neck" and then selling the body on its own.

".... for less than half the price of what P Basses are selling for these days...." depends on what P-bass he's thinking of, as we've seen several Fenders in the past week that are true Fenders in great condition, for about the same price... Good luck on the sale Dude!
