It's not a bass, but here's right-handed Laetitia Sadier (from Stereloab) playing a lefty Fender turned upside down. A social statement from one of the 90s more political bands LOL?

EDIT: WHOA WAIT A SEC, is that picture flipped or is the video?

Oh snap! You are correct! Oh well, the consolation for a Stereolab fan like me is that she's a lefty....

No - it was a web ad for her upcoming NYC gig. They might have taken it from MySpace though.

Love StereoLab.
I'd rather see a lefty playing an upside down righty anyway than visa versa. Something about seeing a righty doing it with a lefty guitar seems so pretentious to me. I guess because they can have any guitar in the world (and end up drilling a poor lefty to accommodate them) whereas lefties often do it out of necessity or ended up playing righties upside down because that was all that was readily available to them in their formative years.

+1 i couldnt agree more when i see a righty playin a lefty kinda seems stupid to me unless it had some sentimental value to it. when i shop for guitars if i fall in love with a righty i have no problem flipping it.
