I had the same with the Streamer Stage II. I would never buy a 4-string version though.

I had a 4 string neck-thru Streamer Stage I a year + ago I traded Dennis at Adirondackguitars that simply killed. I am a 5 string guy but that 4 banger was loud and fat. PJ config. It was under 8lbs but rumbled like a freight truck driving by..... Streamers are good basses neck-thru and bolt-ons.

Even tho I want my next bass to be a fretless that Streamer Stage 2 is tempting.

Simply because I wouldn't have a use for it :)
It would sound too modern for The Bullfight (where I mostly play traditional sounding 4-string basses), and I would greatly appreciate the extended range of a 5-string in Eve's Fall. I need a low B there to stand up to two 7-string-wielding guitarists and the G-string makes it easier to play some of the more melodic parts.

I have no doubt it will be an awesome axe, but without the low B I'm not interested :)
