sunburst Squier

Normally I wouldn't post something like this because there's a bazillion more just like it on the 'bay, but methinks this is a good bang-for-the-buck deal. You could probably contact the seller offline and save a few more $$$

I have one too, strung up with TI Flats and modded with a 62 Pbass pup. I have had a couple of offers to buy mine, but I am holding on to it until I one day get a higher grade p bass (like an American Standard, a Schecter, or maybe a VRB from Rod).

It is definitely better than the affinity. Also, even though the listing calls it sunburst, the one in the auction is technically antique burst. It has a reddish hue, instead of an orange hue. I bought mine a year and a half ago as my starter bass, and it has definitely been great for that purpose.

Never played a Hot Rod, started learning how to play bass well after their production had been discontinued. But, I seem to recall taking PJ's advice on upgrading the pup on my Squier P, and am glad I did :D
