"Special Edition" MIM '04 Jazz bass on the bay

Post by markcv »

This looks kind of nice with the natural ash body. Looks to be a 3 piece body. Anybody know anything about these?

I had one. Known as an FSR Jazz. They're a little over $500 new. Nice but it's just an ash bodied MIM bass. Fit & finish on the one I owned (except for the crappy tuners) was good.

I have one, of the 4 MIM Jazzes I own, it is the best sounding by far.

I agree, it gets even better with an improved bridge such as a Badass II. Try this one and a regular MIM is a great way to compare body wood tones. 2 exact same basses, same hardware and neck but one has an ash body one has an alder body.
