paul simonon from the clash said in the early clash days he used to use those note stickers on his basses so he could remember the notes and people would laugh at him but what a fine bassist he turned out to be hope to be as good as him some day

He just emailed back and said the stickers would be taken off and won't present any issues.

The text on the back of the headstock looks all jumbled up....is that normal for a Hofner?

That's the normal decal, but yeah that caught my eye too Dano. I dunno what's up with that.

Man. I'm thinking someone would get a good deal on this bass. About 90 minutes left as I type this. I'd scoop it up if I hadn't just gotten into a Club again
