Hi guys.

This RS924 I got, here, I know there's a volume, tone, and the preamp knob (below the volume) but there's another know below the tone, that doesn't seem to do anything.

Does anyone have a manual or know what that knob is supposed to do. Maybe there's a problem with the preamp.

Was just wondering if there were any schematics around somewhere?

I may have the two black knobs reversed, but that should pretty much be what they do. I've never owned one of these basses, but I have owned several Soundgear 800's with the 2-band preamp, and two of them had a non-working treble knob, so that might have been a problem back then.

Yup. Looks exactly the same. I'm trying to scribble up a schematic from oggling the parts & board. I'll post something up when I'm done but for the time being I'll just leave it as is. You got the pots right. There's not much info on that EQ-B2 out there so I was pretty much forced to yank the thing out and spend an hour tracing the PCB and scribbling them a piece of paper (with the help of my 4 yr old son)
