I will be in the Schenectady NY area this weekend, was thinking of checking this out. What should I look for, lefty Fender gurus?

The wear on the top edge of the neck makes me think it was played by a righty for a while, so I bet there's a strap button hole in the lower horn and the nut's been replaced.

How heavy it compares to a boat anchor.

Seriously tho, I'd take a good look at the neck profile. C shape was really common back then (mine is a C). If it has a B - or should you luck out and find it's A - then that would increase the value in my mind.

We need to punish those righties using rare cool left-handed basses! Don't they have enough basses available already, come on!
