Yeah, it's pretty high priced. Also, it has issues:
andrew wrote:I considered getting this neck (it's local to me), but was told that there is a "slight bump" on one side of the neck that the truss rod can't get to straighten. If you use medium-low action (which I do) it's supposed to be fine, but if you like your neck arrow straight with low action, this neck might give you problems. Without being able to experience this issue (ie. play the neck) it made me nervous. If curiosity gets the better of me and I can find a body to put this on to try it out, I'll report back here on it.

I thought it looked familiar! Over $1000.00 for just the neck (and it has issues!)........unreal. I have a '77 Jazz bass that I bought for $1250.00 and it's the WHOLE bass!! Not just the neck!

I will say the seller is a nice guy, if you want to talk with him about the neck.

I appreciated he was honest with me when I checked the neck out.

I'm sure he is a nice guy Andrew. It's just that it amazes me how overpriced alot of the vintage stuff has become. It seems that as soon as the year of an instrument dips into the 70"s (at least for Fender anyway) the price gets unreasonable. This is really evident with left handed stuff.
