Boo-teeky 5-string...

Post by Addison »

After several months of trying to get the funds together and talking to a dealer, I was literally about 12 hours too late for the bass I REALLY wanted :x ... and then another pie-in-the-sky potential deal just fell through, so... I'm looking really hard for a solid "booteeky" 5-string.

Here's what I'm interested in:

Warwick (Streamers only)
MTD USA
Sadowsky
Zon (with truss rod)
Ken Smith
Modulus Q (with truss rod)
Mike Lull
Maybe Roscoe?
Maybe Status (with headstock)?

I'm not made of money, but I have a fairly decent budget (especially for today's used market)... so... if you have something in this type of category that's sitting there and collecting dust, drop me a PM and let's talk.

I'm down to a single 5-string right now and I have a huge gig on 11/5... looking for a miracle here.

Thanks!

F Bass BN5 • ZON Legacy Elite 5 • ZON Sonus Elite 5 Fretless • ZON Sonus BG5 • Fender Custom Shop '64 NOS Jazz • Fender Custom Shop '75 NOS Jazz • Fender ADE Precision • Music Man SR4

Well...

My search is officially over.

Since this is my last "wife approved" purchase I will be able to make for most likely a REALLY long time (no joke), I just went for it and got something I've wanted for a REALLY long time...

I'll post more details if/when I get them, but... I've had such horrible luck lately I don't want to say something too soon and jinx myself.
