Can you recommend a good 1x15 Cab?

I already have a 2x10 Ampeg Portabass and an Avatar B410 but for some smaller gigs, I would prefer a 1x15 as it has more mids and sounds fuller a lower volume. Anyone can recommend a good 1x15 cab (not a Cabernet Sauvignon, I know about that!) that sounds good used alone? I was interested in the Markbass, especially that I use a little Mark II.
What else do you guys suggest?

I would look at 1x12's too. Aguilar makes some incredible 1x12-cabs (GS112, DB112). They have a wider frequency range (more mids especially), sound tighter and have a quicker response. They're highly portable too.

Other suggestions besides Aguilar would be Genz Benz (NEOX 112T), Epifani (UL2 112), Eden (D112XLT) and I'm probably forgetting a bunch.

I bias-ly recommend the Aguilar DB115. I also really like the old Mesa Diesel 1x15 cab.

I use a Bag End S15D 1x15 no horn. 400watts. Best speaker cabinet I've ever owned

Also a cab I've heard many good things about.

I second the Mesa Diesel 1-15. I almost bought one, now, I regret not buying it. Mesa cabs are excellent. I have a 1-12 Neo, and it is a GREAT cabinet.

I love the sound of my Accugroove Tri112 cab. Plenty of bottom end, and built like a full-range speaker cab. You can turn down the mid and tweeter speakers. Very light too - the website says 38lbs, but it feels more like 25-30lbs. Would like to get another! Can't really tell you about their 15" cab, but I'm a big fan of their cabs. I also own their El Whappo Jr.....

Thank you guys for those great tips. :)
I agree with you Jeroen, the GS112's are the bomb and maybe I should someday consider selling my cabs and snatch a pair of those. I also tried the Accugroove El Whapo and it was the best cab I have ever tried (but pricey). I saw Michael Manring play with one of those once and it sounded huge.
Now, I don't really want to spend a fortune here and I just like the sound of 1X15 for some type of musics. The Aguilar 1X15 is a good idea as I often see them on CL for a good price. I'll start looking. Thanks Again!

Good deal on a pair of Bag Ends on the BABP board. Sloom is good people.

I own an Ampeg 115HP which packs plenty of power for any small/mid sized venue. Really nice thumping sound, doesn't distort, and can really cut through the drums. Just my 2 cents.
