Ha, I have the same bass with the same issue. When I bought it years ago, I think it was the first time it was taken out of the case in like 25 years and it too was stuck to the case. The finish is impacted a little bit, but it’s natural wear and it didn’t pull the color off, it just has a weird subtle texture to it. Mine is the heaviest bass I own and also one of the punchiest. I use it when I know I don’t have to play for a long time. (to be clear this is not my bass for sale, I’m just comparing it to the same one I have.)
