It's so cuuute! It reminds me of the Ibanez bean basses from the 80s, those had very narrow bodies as well.

I just sold this bass here in SF, CA yesterday. You folks are fast! It was a cool custom made little thing. I also have an 92 fretless Ibanez Soundgear and (Maybe- but so painful to do) a Birdsong Fusion (31" scale) to put up for sale. I just listed the Soundgear here on LB.com today. The advantages of scale lengths are a matter of taste. Smaller scale basses have frets that are closer together which changes how they play and how they sound. You can listen to comparison videos to get an idea of how they sound different. Personally, I like both.
