Re: Carvin LB-76 six string
That's beautiful! I had a 4 string Carvin with that pickup combination - sounded really nice.
Re: Carvin LB-76 six string
I don't recall my LB75's having that much space between the bridge and the end of the fingerboard. I wonder if this could be an XB76? (extra long scale)

You're right Jeroen I thought the same thing. Look at this one for comparison:

Re: Carvin LB-76 six string
One difference is I counted 22 frets on the carvin. I could be wrong, but extra long scale at 22 frets seems odd. I actually almost bought it until I counted the number of frets the other day. All my basses are 24, so I prefer the consistencyStingray5 wrote:You're right Jeroen I thought the same thing. Look at this one for comparison:

The one in image has expected 24 frets based on the markings.
Re: Carvin LB-76 six string
Well spotted, I hadn't noticed that! But the 22 fret neck actually confirms this is an XB76 and not an LB76. They did that so they could fit a longer scale on the same size instrument. This will likely be 35.25" scale, like the one offered for sale here:
