no issue with him at all. he's legit. that's just how the California dealers roll with hyperbole.

The head scratcher is the statement contradiction. How can it be one of many & rare at the same time.

There has to be a little bit of a backstory for this bass.

The tuners are pre-CBS style. If they're Gotoh Res-O-Lites, it makes sense. If they're not, then the story gets more interesting.

These are aftermarket tuners, not pre-cbs tuners and not 74 tuners, so the description that all original is definitely wrong.
