Never had this model from Schecter but all the reviews point to a great instrument, especially this version (the newer version is different and supposedly less desirable).

Looks like the neck isn't original, but that neck is probably fine.

Personally I like the looks of the newer ones, but I've never played either

That neck doesn't fit the neck pocket properly.
But someone may like it as is.

The pocket looks nice and snug. It's only the pickguard that doesn't fully fit the new neck

A new custom pickguard should take care of that then.

I have one of these older ones. I'll sell mine to a forum member for the same price if anyone's interested. All I did was stain the fretboard black and swap out the PUPs for a pair of Ron's Revelation PUPs, but I still have the originals I'll throw into the deal as well.
