I have owned a lot of basses over the years (a fraction of what many others on this forum have owned, without a doubt, but quite a few, nonetheless). The vast majority of them I wish I hadn’t bought, and have since sold. But, I would do it all over again if I could have my Zon Sonus 4 back. It is the one bass I regret selling, the “one that got away.”

deal breaker for me but if you're a fretless player, it's a good price IMO!
I called yesterday and was told it does have frets.
I was hoping she would tell me it is a lined fretless to alleviate me of a hard decision.

Funny I too called yesterday. And a guy went to check for me and told me it was fretless. Reason why I wanted to check was because in my pc browser you could see up on top left:
Used gear/basses/fretless basses
So it’s worth to check again and ask for a close up pic of the fretboard. To me it does indeed looks like lined fretless by the pics!

Yeah, I noticed that too. That is also why I called.

It does, but I wanted to be sure. If am actually relieved that it is fretless! Now I don’t have a tough decision to make!

No kidding! What is the deal? The cheapest smartphone you can get today has like a 10+ megapixel camera, and Guitar Center can’t be bothered to upload a picture with more than twelve pixels for a bass that they are asking two grand for, and put more than four words in the description.
I don’t get it.

Since GC accepts returns I decided to snag this and see if the dots aligned properly with a fretted bass and turned out it did. So I've had frets put on and it turned out great!
