Thats crazY. I have an earlier MIJ Jazz (84) and it is an awesome ax but.....not sure if they should be commanding that price....
though mine does sound and play better than any american jazz i have ever owned (not that i have owned tons and nothing pre 75)

yeah, not quite sure whats going on there - Jack is a really great dude - he does alot of CD design graphic stuff in NYC for CDs you probably own like Marcus Miller/Hiram B (rip)/Patches Stewart et cet....

talked to Jack yesterday - he said he was testing the market to see what it would bring - he had an offer of $1500 on it already from a bloke that actually played it - I believe him when he says its a great ax - again, i love mine and hold it up to all i buy but man, if the early MIJs are going for 2K plus.....YIPES!
